Unfazed by heat, this showy Mediterranean native adds great texture and summer color to the landscape with minimal care. Unique whorls of butter-yellow flowers contrast with woolly, silver-grey leaves on a dense shrub-like form. This semi-evergreen forms a 3-4′ mound with an equal spread. The flowers attract butterflies and humming birds. Does best in part sun, part shade, or areas that give some protection to afternoon sun.
